If you need to lift heavy glass and want to move it cordlessly, we have the equipment to help you do just that. The CRL Powr-Grip EUP11104DC0 single-channel Powr-Grip vacuum lifting frame is fitted with four rubber suction cups, each with a diameter of 280 mm (11 inches), mounted on a steel profile which, when attached to the glass, measures 305 x 1300 mm (12 x 51 inches). The dual vacuum system features two vacuum lines, enabling the lifting device to maintain the vacuum level in one line even if an unexpected vacuum loss occurs in the other line. This system is designed to reduce the risk of falling loads, which may result from breakage or other accidents affecting part of the vacuum system.
Each EUP11104DC has its own vacuum pump and controls; can be set up in 6 seconds and dismantled in 12 seconds; weighs just 32 kg (70 lbs) when ready for use and has a safe working load of 318 kg (700 lbs).
The EUP11104DC can be fitted with concave suction cups for handling curved glass and individual suction cups. The parts are easy to replace if they become damaged on site. Restrictions on the suction cups minimise the risk of load loss should the glass break in one cup. The units are supplied as standard with a 12V DC power supply, but are also optionally available with a 240V AC power supply. The EUP11104DC comes with a robust aluminium lifting bar that allows the unit to rotate 180 degrees with locking in three positions: 90-degree tilt, vertical to flat; and automatic locking in the upright position.
